Joshua Gary (b. 1975, Portland, Oregon) is a metal forger living and working in Savannah, Georgia, alongside his wife, Autumn, and their two children.

Gary's artistic foundation took shape during his years in Taos County, New Mexico; a place he regards as central to the development of his practice. There, he had the privilege of apprenticing under artists Kathy Parks, Humberto Maestas, and Lynn Kircher, who gave him the space and encouragement to explore and refine the technical demands of working with metal. More profoundly, they imparted a lesson that would come to define his approach: the importance of listening to the material itself, and responding to what it wants to become.

His rigorous studio practice produces primarily commissioned works for private collections, alongside ongoing development of site-specific museum installations. Gary has exhibited widely across the United States, with work shown in Portland, Taos, Boulder, Raleigh, and Savannah. His pieces are held in high regard by collectors and critics for their creativity, technical precision, and depth of craft.
